The Hilliard Arts Council Presents their Summer Concert Series as a “Drive-In” to ensure social distancing. These live concerts will take place in front of the Hilliard Civic and Cultural Arts Center, 5425 Center Street on the grass between the front door and the mural. Patrons are invited to pull their cars up and listen and can also get out of their cars and sit in chairs in front of them or on the driveway in front of the theatre.

This week’s concert:
The Whirlybirds
August 16, 7 p.m.

Columbus based band, Whirlybirds, play an amalgamation New Orleans-style Dixieland and pre-WWII era jazz while still incorporating more modern elements of jazz, pop, soul, and funk. The result is unique arrangements of original “Swang” music (as well as standards/covers) designed to engage and entertain the audience in a high-energy, live show not soon forgotten.

August 23, 7 p.m: Songs of Inspiration, Hope and Freedom from Broadway. Starring performers from past Hilliard Arts Council productions–Broadway show tunes
August 30, 7 p.m: Ladies of Longford–Irish themed
