Recycling Drop Off Event

Go Green Hilliard and the City of Hilliard have partnered to host a Recycling Drop Off! Celebrate Earth Week by keeping unwanted Styrofoam, electronics, building materials, paper, and more out of the landfill.

The general public may drop off Styrofoam at Hilliard City Hall (3800 Municipal Way), and paper for shredding, electronics, and Habitat for Humanity items at Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park (3800 Veterans Memorial Drive) on Saturday, April 23 from 10 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Styrofoam:
Accepted materials: packaging material and foam coolers.
Materials not accepted: foam peanuts, construction-grade foam (insulation), and foam food containers.

Electronics:
Accepted materials: computers, printers, fax machines, DVD and record players, cords, phones, cameras, Mp3 payers, video game systems, stereo equipment, and small kitchen appliances.

TVs and monitors are accepted at an additional cost.

Shredding:
Bring stacks or boxes of paper to Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. All paper will be shredded and recycled.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore:
Habitat ReStore accepts new and gently used appliances, furniture, building materials, household goods, plumbing and fixtures, flooring, windows, tools, non-fluorescent lighting, and new lumber.
