About
About

Hilliard, Ohio is a thriving community of more than 33,000 residents. Residents and corporate citizens enjoy dependable city and safety services, a highly rated public-school system, scenic parks and trails, terrific recreational programs and a variety of safe and attractive neighborhoods. Situated just west of the Scioto River along I-270, Hilliard is only a 15 to 20-minute commute to downtown Columbus. With roots that began as a village built in 1869 around the railroad station, Hilliard has grown into a city full of local pride and history. The original train station has been restored and remains in downtown Hilliard’s Historical Weaver Park. It is an exciting time for Hilliard with recent additions such as the Bo Jackson Elite Sports Facility and Hilliard’s Station Park, which offers an amphitheater, splash pad and year-round events for the community. Our proud heritage and promising future make Hilliard a top community in central Ohio! Hilliard is home to the Early Television Museum (the only one of its kind in the United States), the nation’s second largest First Responders Park and the Heritage Rail Trail. Hilliard also has the only flag from the World Trade Center that is not in a museum. The flag is located in front of the fire department on Northwest Pkwy.
