Join the locals at one of our special events or dine at one of the many locally owned restaurants where you will feel right at home. Do not be surprised if we strike up a conversation and draw you a map to our favorite Hilliard parks and attractions. Whether you are attending a corporate event, planning a wedding or family reunion, traveling for your kids’ competitions, or getting a way for the weekend, Hilliard has the amenities and a higher level of service from real people who care about getting it right. Our hotels are cozy and offer the hometown welcome you deserve.
Whether you are a first time or frequent visitor, there are plenty of new reasons to include Old Hilliard on your itinerary.
Old Hilliard was transformed from an old transportation stop to the core of our community and it marks the starting point of the seven-mile Heritage Trail. Main street is lined with unique options intermixed with parks, historic sites, shopping options and a constant flow of special events. Old Hilliard also houses the city’s Cultural Arts Center and three murals. One mural, adjacent to the new Center Street Market and Crooked Can Brewery, depicts the city’s railroading past and agricultural roots, and two additional murals celebrate culture and diversity on the side of the Civic and Cultural Arts Center.
