Located in the heart of Hilliard, New Grounds Coffee House is one of the many treasures the city has to offer. Since 2006, this family-owned business has been providing high-quality coffee and service to the area. The coffee shop emphasizes the importance of supporting other local businesses, featuring Crimson Cup coffee, baked goods from Der Dutchman, Sammy’s Bagels, and more on their menu.
New Grounds has two signature drinks, Buckeye Late and New Grounds, as well as a selection of monthly specials, keeping the menu new and diverse. Espressos, mochas, and several fresh coffees are some of the other inclusions featured on the menu. The menu features a long list of syrup flavors and additions/substitutions for those feeling adventurous. For non-coffee drinkers, hot chocolate, tea, and smoothies are just some of the options to choose from. On the shop’s Facebook page, a Drink of the Week is announced every Monday. The page also recognizes its employees in a “Senior Spotlight,” shouting out graduating team members for their hard work.

The business also has a location in West Jefferson, The Daily Buzz, and recently announced the addition of a third location in Plain City. Juli Willbarger, the owner, hopes to open the new location to the public in the fall of this year.
