If you’ve ever driven the 270 loop around Columbus, you may have passed by WatersEdge Conference & Event Center without even realizing it!
Conveniently located on Trueman Boulevard, just 8 minutes east of Old Hilliard, WatersEdge is easily accessible via the Tuttle Crossing or Fishinger Boulevard exits.
Since opening our doors as Lakeview at WatersEdge in 2013, we’ve been dedicated to hosting unforgettable events – from weddings, corporate meetings, nonprofit galas, baby showers, and more.
Fun fact: our building was previously home to Red Roof Inn Headquarters, and we’ve transformed its expansive 12,000 square feet into the vibrant venue and conference center you see today.
As you explore our bridal suite on the lower level, you might notice that it feels a bit like a hotel room—this space served as a model room during the Red Roof days! You can even book our classroom-style breakout space, “Trueman Room,” named after the late James R. Trueman who founded Red Roof Inn back in 1972.
What truly sets WatersEdge apart as the ideal location for your next conference is our flexibility. We offer a variety of room sizes and capacities, ranging from boardroom-style suites for 10 guests to grand ballrooms that can accommodate up to 225 attendees. You can mix and match spaces for your specific needs for all-day meetings, multi-day conferences, company retreats, nonprofit galas, or holiday parties.
In May 2023, we proudly expanded the WatersEdge facilities, opening The Cove at WatersEdge – providing additional spaces to offer even more flexibility for your event.
At Lakeview, you have access to:

- 2 Suites
- The Cedar Room (flexible additional breakout space)
