The Halloween Haunt has become a beloved local tradition, and it's back on Saturday, October 24, from 9 to 11 a.m.!
This FREE, family-friendly event invites kids to dress up in their favorite costumes and enjoy a not-so-spooky morning of Halloween fun!
Trick-or-treat at participating businesses throughout Downtown Hilliard and enjoy festive activities along Main Street and at Hilliard's Station Park.

One of Hilliard's favorite fall traditions returns on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 9 to 11 a.m., bringing a morning of not-so-spooky fun to Downtown Hilliard. Halloween Haunt is a FREE, family-friendly celebration featuring trick-or-treating, live entertainment, and plenty of reasons to explore Everyone's Hometown. Whether you're a longtime Hilliard resident or visiting for the first time, here's everything you need to know to make the most of your morning.
Trick-or-Treat Your Way Through Downtown Hilliard
Grab your candy buckets and put on your favorite costumes! Participating Downtown Hilliard businesses will welcome superheroes, princesses, pumpkins, ghosts, and other costumed characters for a morning of trick-or-treating. This year's Halloween Haunt is shaping up to be the biggest yet! Businesses from Heartland Bank to HillGarten will be ready to fill your little goblins' treat buckets. Over 35 additional treat stops will be located along Main Street and at Hilliard's Station Park, thanks to businesses from throughout the Greater Hilliard area.
Safety First!
Halloween Haunt stretches from Heartland Bank to Bear's Bagels, butMain Street will be closed to vehicle traffic only between Franklin Street and Norwich Street. Please stay on sidewalks and use designated crosswalks when visiting businesses outside the closed portion of Main Street.

There's more to Halloween Haunt than candy!
Head to Hilliard's Station Park for live music by Mr. E and balloon twisting by Erica Carlson Entertainment. Balloon twisting is always a popular activity, so plan to arrive early! The line typically closes at 10:45 a.m. to allow Erica and her helper to wrap up by 11 a.m.
Don't miss Haunted Hip Hop, a special performance by Columbus DanceArts Academy on Main Street near Norwich Street.

Make a Morning of It in Hilliard
Halloween Haunt may wrap up at 11 a.m., but your family fun doesn't have to end there!
Downtown Hilliard is a great place to shop local. Explore local coffee stops, bakeries, retail stops and restaurants.
Start your morning with coffee or breakfast before the festivities, then stick around afterward for lunch, shopping, and more seasonal fun.
A short walk to Lattimer Square will take you to Packrat Comics' annual Halloween ComicFest, which continues until 2 p.m. You'll also find two more treat stops at Green Threads & Beats and The Witch's Parlor.
It's a great opportunity to discover a new favorite spot while supporting the local businesses that help make events like Halloween Haunt possible.
