Throughout the summer, Downtown Hilliard is transformed each Thursday evening for Celebration at the Station. Main Street is closed and the fountains at Hilliard’s Station Park are turned off to allow the space to come alive in a new way.
From 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm, Hilliard’s Station Park is a live music venue showcasing Ohio-based bands and artists. Event-goers gather to enjoy an evening of good tunes, great company, refreshing drinks in the Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area (DORA) and the flavors of Hilliard.
In addition to the extensive and tasty menus of Sexton’s Pizza and Center Street Market, some Hilliard businesses offer to-go options to make dinner a fun addition to the Celebration!
Legacy Smokehouse, just steps away from Station Park, has a special on Thursday nights for $3 pork sliders. Skip the wait and order HillGarten’s signature German dishes online. The to-go boxes are perfect for picnicking in the park.
Taco lovers rejoice! Yabo’s Tacos offers their retro beers for $2 on Thursdays. Additionally, you can purchase chips and salsa for $2.50, $4 with retro beer, or chips and queso/guac for $4, $5.50 with retro beer. Local Cantina will offer party packs, enough to feed the whole family and conveniently located near Hilliard’s Station Park. For those who are looking for a post-Celebration snack, Local Cantina will be serving up tacos at Taco Tuesday Prices from 9pm to close.
Teas Your Spirits has delicious menu options, a variety of fusion teas and fun cocktails. You can enjoy your food to-go while you dance to the music at the park or dine on the patio while soaking up the music in a quieter atmosphere.
Grandad’s Pizza can be found outside of Coffee Connections on select Thursday nights (June 13 & 20, July 11 & 25) for Pizza By The Slice. Coffee Connections will host pop-up vendors from time to time to add a shopping element to your Thursday evening experience.
For the full Hilliard experience, head to the heart of Downtown early and grab a drink in a DORA cup to explore the Shoppes by Westwood and to take a stroll down Main Street before settling in for the festivities.
